One of the efforts to achieve optimal development is screening and developmental stimulation. Implementation of development stimulation requires media. The media used is android-based media designed by researchers, including gross and fine motor stimulation, speech and language, as well as socialization and independence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of developmental stimulation media on the developmental abilities of preschoolers. The method used is a quasi-experimental design test analysis using univariate analysis (frequency distribution) and bivariate (Wilcoxon tests). The number of respondents was 75 (35 children in the intervention group and 35 children in the control group). In the intervention group, development stimulation was carried out using an android-based development stimulation media SDIDTK while in the control group used PPT material after the post-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between average ability: gross movement, fine movement, speech and language, and socialization and independence of children in the intervention group and the control group after treatment (p-value < 0.005 and α= 0.05). IT-based stimulation media (android) can be used as an alternative in stimulating development in preschool-aged children.
2024-10-08T03:34:24+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejurnal.poltekkesjakarta3.ac.id/index.php/jitek/article/view/1716 Empowering Parents in Improving Knowledge and Skills of Sex Education for Children at An-nashiriyyah Kindergarten Ciledug Tangerang City 2024-11-12T07:59:23+00:00 yudhia fratidhina yudhiaf@yahoo.com Karningsih Karningsih yudhiaf@yahoo.com Citra Farinsha yudhiaf@yahoo.com
ABSTRACT

Background: Sexual education is education that teaches about feared sexual activities to avoid sexual violence. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and various national health institutions, stunting can have a long-term impact on children's cognitive development, health and well-being. Traditionally, the role of childcare is often considered the mother's responsibility, while the father's role is often focused on financial aspects. Objective: to obtain information about fathers' perspectives in caring for babies and toddlers to prevent stunting. Method: This research is qualitative research involving 96 father respondents. The inclusion criteria for fathers were fathers who were healthy and had children aged infants or toddlers. Results: From this study it was still found that the majority showed sufficient awareness of the importance of nutrition for their children, but their knowledge was often limited to basic information and did not fully understand the details of a proper diet or the importance of regular health checks. Fathers' involvement in health visits and child health consultations is often more limited. Fathers tend to rely on mothers for decisions regarding health and treatment, despite fathers' awareness of the importance of routine check-ups and immunizations. Conclusion: the father's role cannot yet be said to be optimal to help prevent stunting because there are still values that assume this function lies with the mother. There is a need to increase the optimization of the father's role in addition to increasing knowledge capacity.
2024-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejurnal.poltekkesjakarta3.ac.id/index.php/jitek/article/view/1764 Factors Related To Parental Decision-Making In Administering Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine To Children 2024-11-19T02:48:22+00:00 Winancy Winancy winancyw@gmail.com Nadifah Salsabila nadhifsabila@gmail.com Sri Sukamti winancyw@gmail.com
Cervical cancer has been the second most common cancer in women and at high-risk to death. It is commonly caused by HumanPapillomaVirus (HPV) so that it is considered making effective use of HPV vaccine to prevent this disease. This study is aimed to investigate factors associated with parents' decision-making to get HPV vaccine for children at the State Primary Schools located in the Community Health Center working area of Binong, Tangerang, in 2024. An analytical survey with cross-sectional design was employed in this quantitative study. 87 people out of the whole population of female students at SDN Binong I-VI were selected as samples of the study. Samples were collected by means of Cluster Random Sampling and data gathered was analyzed by using a Chi-Square test. The study found that a substantial majority of parents administer the HPV vaccine to their children (78.2%). In bivariate analysis, no statistically significant relationship was observed between education level and the decision to vaccinate children against HPV (p = 0.637). However, significant associations were identified between knowledge level (p = 0.000), motivation (p = 0.004), family support (p = 0.000), exposure to information (p = 0.000), and the decision to vaccinate children against HPV.
2024-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejurnal.poltekkesjakarta3.ac.id/index.php/jitek/article/view/1696 Relationship Between Receiving Respectful Midwifery Care (RMC) and Satisfaction with Newborn Care Services 2024-11-29T03:11:33+00:00 Munawaroh Munawaroh mu28na@gmail.com Heriza Syam herizazyam@yahoo.co.id
ABSTRACT

The midwife's positive attitude in providing midwifery services and fulfilling the patient's needs is felt as satisfaction by the patient.
