PPD is a public health problem that causes a variety of health risks, but it is often undetectable in postpartum mothers, especially in primary care facilities. The research aimed to analyze demographic and psychosocial factors associated with PPD in primary care facilities. This study used a cross-sectional design, that used 251 women giving birth in the delivery range between 2-8 weeks postpartum from six practicing midwife clinic partners in Bandar Lampung City. Data was collected from February to August 2023 using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used to measure PPD was the EPDS (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) questionnaire. The demographic variables measured were age of childbearing, parity, ethnicity, education, and employment status, while psychosocial variables included length of marriage, economic status, history of depression, history of abortion, husband support, and family. The data analysis used chi square test and multiple logistic regression tests. The prevalence of PPD in Bandar Lampung City was 12%. The risk factor associated with PPD is a history of abortion which has a risk of 2.9 times (p: 0.019; 95%CI: 1.2-6.9) after being controlled by education, employment status, family income, and husband support. Independent variables that were not related to the incidence of PPD, were age of childbearing, ethnicity, parity, education, and length of marriage. There is a need for a holistic approach in primary care facilities by considering demographic and psychosocial factors in the initial screening of PPD. Intervention recommendations are aimed at improving the understanding of health workers about psychosocial risks so that they can improve the achievement of comprehensive screening and handling of mental health problems for postpartum mothers as well as more optimal preventive efforts at the primary service level.
2024-12-11T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejurnal.poltekkesjakarta3.ac.id/index.php/ProsidingJKT3/article/view/1837 DIGITAL NURSING SERVICE MODEL USING THE ANDROID APPLICATION "ATASI CABG" TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF CABG PATIENTS 2024-12-11T09:35:55+00:00 Syafrisar Meri Agritubella meri@pkr.ac.id Rian Yuliyana meri@pkr.ac.id Masnun Masnun meri@pkr.ac.id Ardenny Ardenny meri@pkr.ac.id Hema Malini meri@pkr.ac.id
Introduction: The quality of life of patients is determined by the success of treatment for Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) patients. One of the important indicators in the diagnosis of AMI is increased levels of troponin I (TnI) or high sensitive troponin I (hs-TnI). Approximately 70% of fatal AMI cases are attributed to occlusion caused by atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is characterized by lipid accumulation. The study aimed to determine the relationship between TnI and hs-TnI levels with lipid profile levels in AMI patients. The comparative analytical study design used primary data from 35 samples at RSMC in February – May 2024, and used spearman-rho correlation test analysis. Most AMI patients were in the age group of 56-65 (40%) and the percentage of male AMI patients (68.6%) is higher compared to females (31.4%). High-sensitivity troponin assays detect troponins (100%) but at a much lower concentration than classical assays. Low HDL levels (74.3%) indicate that the patient is at higher risk of detecting AMI incidences. We emphasize no significant relationship between TnI and hs-TnI with lipid profiles on AMI incidences because of several factors; time examination, complexity in cardiovascular disease, individual variability in response to atherosclerosis, and myocardial infarction.
2024-12-19T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejurnal.poltekkesjakarta3.ac.id/index.php/ProsidingJKT3/article/view/1864 THE EFFECT OF LOW IMPACT AEROBIC EXERCISE ON REDUCING BLOOD PRESSURE IN ADULTS WITH HYPERTENSION IN JATI MELATI VILLAGE 2024-12-19T15:26:55+00:00 Nur Achirda nurachirda80@gmail.com Erna Sariana nurachirda80@gmail.com Zidan Priskha Misbachussurur nurachirda80@gmail.com
Background: Adulthood is the peak phase of human physical growth and the phase where a person is ready to enter society. The results of DNA amplification from PCR were visualised using gel agarose electrophoresis. However, agarose is expensive and creates an obstacle for molecular examination in Indonesia. This means that not all health facilities in Indonesia can always have a ready stock of agarose, so a replacement for agarose with a good enough result for visualisation with a cheaper one is needed. This study aimed to evaluate the potential use of seaweed agar as a substitute for agarose, and to optimise the optimal conditions for seaweed agar in DNA electrophoresis. This study used a true-experimental research method with a post-test-only control group design. We optimised several parameters of seaweed agar (Swallow brand), including seaweed agar concentration, TAE buffer concentration, voltage variations, and amplicon volume. All electrophoresis results were compared with those of the control. This study shows that seaweed agar can be used as a substitute for commercial agarose gel in DNA electrophoresis under the best conditions, such as using a 2% concentration of seaweed agar, 1x concentration of TAE buffer, 80 volts for 1 h, and 12 µL of DNA amplicons. The limitation of using seaweed agar is that the size of the DNA that can be detected is less than 700 bp.
2024-12-19T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejurnal.poltekkesjakarta3.ac.id/index.php/ProsidingJKT3/article/view/1869 THE EFFECT OF STANDING JUMP EXERCISE ON JUMP HEIGHT IN VOLLEYBALL CLUB PLAYERS 2024-12-21T09:25:27+00:00 Ratu Karel Lina restuarya35@gmail.com Restu Arya Pambudi restuarya35@gmail.com Rovika Trioclarise restuarya35@gmail.com Zidni Ilman Nafian restuarya35@gmail.com
Background: Volleyball is played by 2 teams of 6 players each, with a focus on physical quality to achieve the best athletic performance. This study aims to explore integrated solutions through a counselling approach to address the impact of stunting on children's oral health. The methods used included a survey of parents of stunted children, followed by a counselling session focusing on education about the importance of balanced nutrition and oral care. The results showed that mothers of children who received the counselling intervention experienced an increase in knowledge about dental hygiene and understanding of the relationship between nutrition and oral health. Parental involvement in the counselling process was shown to increase efforts to prevent dental problems, such as caries and oral infections. This study recommends the development of a sustainable counselling programme integrated with public health services to optimise the health of stunted children. With a holistic approach, it is expected to create an environment that supports optimal physical growth and dental health development. These findings make an important contribution to child health policy and open opportunities for further research on the impact of nutrition on oral health, as well as encouraging collaboration to improve the quality of life of children affected by stunting. One of the settlements of the KAT tribe in Jambi Province is located in Hajran Village, which is situated within the Batin XXIV sub-district of the Batanghari Regency. The KAT community is confronted with a number of complex social issues, including poverty, education and health. The prevalence of health problems in the KAT is attributed to the inadequate adoption of clean and healthy lifestyle behaviours (PHBS), which is largely due to an incomplete understanding of these behaviours. A deficiency in PHBS provides an opportunity for disease-causing microorganisms to gain entry. The absence of PHBS may be attributed to a lack of knowledge. It has been demonstrated that increased knowledge and changes in PHBS occur as a result of education. The use of educational media in the form of moving animations, attractive colours and audio-visuals has been demonstrated to enhance knowledge and behaviour. There is an enhanced awareness of PHBS as a strategy to prevent stunting. This activity is a community service program to enhance the knowledge and behaviour of remote indigenous communities with regard to clean and healthy living.
